Blue Crabs Playoff Ticket Plans On Sale Now!

For the second consecutive season, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs have secured a spot in the 2010 Atlantic League Playoffs by winning the Liberty Division First Half Title! At this time, only playoff ticket plans are available for purchase, which include tickets to as many as five possible playoff games the Blue Crabs will play at Regency Furniture Stadium.
As first half champs, the Blue Crabs will have home field advantage in the first round of the Atlantic League Playoffs (best-of-five), with the opponent to be determined. The first round series begins with Game 1 on Wednesday, September 22 at Regency Furniture Stadium at 7:05 p.m. Game 2 will be Thursday, September 23 at home as well, also at 7:05. The series will then shift to the opponent's homefield for Games 3 & 4 (if necessary), before returning to Southern Maryland for Game 5 (if necessary) on Sunday, September 26. (Start time TBA).
Should the Blue Crabs win their first round series, the Atlantic League Championship Series (best-of-five) will begin on Wednesday, September 29 at the home of the Freedom Division Champion, who will host Games 1, 2 and 5 (if necessary). The Blue Crabs would host Games 3 and 4 (if necessary) at Regency Furniture Stadium on Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2, giving the Blue Crabs up to five home playoff dates.
At this time, only playoff ticket plans are on sale. For $40.00 a plan, fans may secure their seat for all five possible playoff games, in reserve seating. For $60.00 a plan, fans may secure their seat for all five possible playoff games in box seating. CLICK HERE FOR STADIUM SEATING DIAGRAM, FOR SEAT LOCATIONS. Either ticket plan also includes a FREE "Code Blue" t-shirt. "Code Blue" is this year's rallying cry as the Blue Crabs strive for their first championship in franchise history.
The prices of these ticket plans include five games. Should the Blue Crabs play fewer than five playoff games this postseason, season ticket holders will have that remaining balance credited to the cost of their 2011 season tickets. All others will recieve a ticket voucher good for most any regular season game at Regency Furniture Stadium in 2011.
PLAYOFF TICKET PLANS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN PERSON AT THE REGENCY FURNITURE STADIUM BOX OFFICE DURING HOME GAMES OR NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, OR OVER THE PHONE AT 301-638-9788 EXT. 218. AT THIS TIME, PLAYOFF TICKET PLANS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ONLINE.
At this time, season ticket holders also have their first opportunity to renew their ticket plan for 2011. The incentives for doing so at this time are: (1) Priority to change your seat(s), (2) the opportunity to lock in your 2010 price, should there be a price increase on your seats for 2011.
