Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Announce Game Times For 2024 Season
(Waldorf, MD) The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs have altered the start time for night games, moving them back to the time of 7:05 P.M. The 7:05 P.M. start time aims to provide families, working professionals, and fans of all ages with some extra time to get home and head to the ballpark. Furthermore, the first pitch for Sunday games will continue to be 2:05 PM. This tradition has become a staple for families and fans looking to cap off their weekends with an exciting afternoon of baseball at Regency Furniture Stadium.
In addition to the revised game times, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are excited to showcase three specialty game times throughout the season:
On May 16th and May 23rd, children of all ages have the opportunity to learn about the science behind baseball while on school field trips to Regency Furniture Stadium. These games will begin at 10:35 A.M.
On August 15th , the Blue Crabs will host the York Revolution at 11:05 A.M. for Camp Day. Southern Maryland summer camps will have the opportunity to spend a day at the ballpark, as part of their camp week.
” The 7:05 P.M. start time is a new beginning for Blue Crabs baseball. Giving families ample time to get inside Regency Furniture Stadium is important to us, and we are eager to see the positive impact this change has on family attendance” said Blue Crabs’ GM Courtney Knichel.
