JT Reed is a 24-year-old fleet-footed rookie outfielder from Greenfield, Wisconsin. He played most of his college career at Valley City State; in 2021, he was named to the 1st Team All-Conference team when he led his team in stolen bases. In his redshirt-senior season last year, Reed finished with a .305 average, six home runs, and scoring 21 runs.
Reed attended Whitnall High School; he was on the baseball team and participated in track and field. In his senior season, he posted a .403 batting average; while tallying up six doubles; and scoring 18 runs in 19 games. His stellar efforts placed him on the Woodland All-Conference first team in 2016.
JT Reed started his collegiate career at Lake County Community College; he had an impressive start with his .346 batting average, 27 stolen bases, and crossed the plate 39 times.
His next stop was Valley City State, where he became a mainstay in their outfield for the next three seasons. Reed was penciled into 88 games and posted a career .329 average; he also added 13 home runs to his total and stole 41 bases. He was voted onto the 1st All-Conference team in 2021 after leading his team in stolen bases, and last year, he ended his college career hitting for a .305 batting average.
