Biography:
Michael Baca is a 30-year-old shortstop from Amarillo, Texas. Baca finished his college baseball career at Tabor College; in his two seasons as a Blue Jay, he put together a slash of .368/.426/.545, with 21 doubles, and swiped 30 bases.
The infielder's pro career had him head to New Britain to play with the Bees in the Atlantic League; he has also been on the High Point Rockers, Chicago Dogs, and the Normal Corn Belters. With the Blue Crabs, Baca has played over 1800 innings at the shortstop position; last year, he had 293 assists which would be the second most in the Atlantic League
