Jack Sundberg is a 29-year-old outfielder from Mansfield, Connecticut. Sundberg was a standout player at the University of Connecticut; when he graduated, he climbed up the career stolen bases board to second all-time with 83. In his senior season, he led the AAC with runs scored (53) and walks (45). In 2016 the Washington Nationals called Jack Sundberg’s name in the 26th round.
In his first full professional season, Sundberg posted a .277 average, with 109 hits and 52 walks. Sundberg joined the Blue Crabs a year ago and already had his name entered the record books for three different statistical categories, walks (85), stolen bases (45), and on-base streak (34).
