Braxton Lee is a left-handed hitting outfielder from Picayune, Mississippi. Lee transferred to Ole Miss in 2014 and became their everyday leadoff hitter as he led the SEC in stolen bases swiping 30, and he would walk more than he would strike out as the Rebels returned to the College World Series for the first time since 1972. The Mississippi Native was taken by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 12th round, starting his professional career.
Lee was with the Rays organization until 2017 when he was traded to the Miami Marlins, he took home the Southern League batting title in 2017, and that accomplishment moved him up to the top 30 Marlins prospects. The speedster college had his first hit against the Philadelphia Phillies the following year. In 2021, the outfielder signed with the Blue Crabs, and after a scorching hot start, the Cincinnati Reds purchased his contract. Last year, Lee was with the Blue Crabs and set a record for triples, collecting three in one game and leading the league with nine three-baggers. This will be his first year as the hitting coach for the Blue Crabs.
