Biography:

Philip Caulfield is a 28-year-old infielder from Burlingame, California. Caulfield attended Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles and would be drafted by the Washington Nationals organization in 2017. 

 

After he spent some time with the Nationals, he made his way into independent baseball in 2021 playing for the Gary Southshore Railcats, Tri-City Valley Cats, and the New York Boulders. Last year he made his Atlantic League debut with the Long Island Ducks, hitting for a slash of .288/.393/.494 with eight doubles.  

 

Caulfield started the 2023 season with the Ducks but was traded to the Blue Crabs in June for LHP McKenzie Mills.
